Aston Martin has confirmed that the controversial Cygnet luxury city car is to go into production in 2011.
They believe their customers need a small car for urban and city use. And although the Cygnet will be small, it will also be a luxurious Aston Martin tailor fit for the city.
“Whatever we do, we do right. If we do performance, we do performance; we don’t downsize or compromise our sports cars. The Cygnet needs to satisfy the demands of emissions and space. It is a car without compromise, just like every other Aston Martin”.
The Cygnet will be available in an unlimited palette of colours and materials and each hand-finished car will be truly unique.
It is believed the technical differences between the Aston Martin Cygnet and Toyota iQ will be minimal. The price will be released at a later date.
