The HR1 has been created to appeal to young city drivers, who lead an active lifestyle and who look for a fun car that is fashionable but yet roomy enough to carry sports and leisure equipment or shopping.
This four-wheel drive concept car blends together the body styles of a small city car, coupé and SUV to give a compact crossover with a raised driving position and excellent road visibility.
The HR1 has a new turbocharged 1.2 litre petrol, 110bhp engine powering the front wheels and a 37bhp electric motor at the rear.
Together the two engines give a combined power of 147bhp, combined fuel consumption of just 3.5 litres/100km (81MPG) and emissions of just 80g/km CO2.
Inside this stunning looking car is extremely hi-tech with lots of innovations like a Movement Recognition System that allows the driver to scroll through functions and select settings with a simple movement of the hand.
By rotating their hand, the driver can scroll the menu to select the audio, satellite navigation and air conditioning functions.
The driver switches control of the menus to the front passenger, with a sweep of the hand from left to right.
