Toyota Prius celebrates 10 years in production by releasing a limited edition model

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Toyota Prius, Toyota’s designers have come up a more sporty looking model to celebrate the hybrids 10th year in production.

The anniversary model will be limited to 1,000 units across the U.K. (if your interested in one contact Toyota Ireland) the limited edition model comes with a slick body kit, 17-inch alloy wheels and rear dark-tinted privacy glass. The interior is all black leather upholstery embossed with a nice finishing touch of a 10th anniversary logo.

Although the overall look has changed, Toyota have not tampered with its environmental performance what so ever. That’s right the Prius remains super fuel-efficent with 70mpg and CO2 emissions of 92g/km which puts it in lowest road tax category.

Regarding the technology it comes with HDD satelite navigation, rear parking monitor, bluetooth, Intelligent Park Assist, cruise control, smart entry and start, rain-sensing wipers and head-up display.
More street racer than hybrid, this is what happens when you let the designers loose to create an anniversary version of the Toyota Prius.

Orders are been taken now and deliveries are expected this winter.
